| Tony Touch is a key member and icon
in Hip-Hop and in the Urban Hispanic genre. Tony Toca
represents the urban Latino community to the fullest
with his Spanglish lyrics and Salsa roots. Tony Touch
is the result of growing up with Salsa at home and
Hip- Hop influence in his lifestyle. Tony Toca, as
he is most commonly referred to, is the Nuyorican
soul that has mastered bridging two cultures. |
| Tony Touch began as a B-boy during
the rap music renaissance of the early 80’s.
Heavily influenced by pioneers like Crazy Legs and
the Rocksteady Crew, Grandmaster Flash, the Furious
Five and Red Alert, he quickly shifted his interests
towards the turntables. Tony Toca is currently known
for legendary mixtapes such as 50 Mcs Mixtape part
1, 2 and 3, which included some of the hottest artist
in the game such as KRS One, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy
Kane, Wyclef, M.O.P, and Mos Def coming together for
one collective piece. “5 Deadly Venoms of Brooklyn,”
with Tony, DJ Premier, Mr. Cee, Evil Dee, and PF Cuttin’
in the mix and recognized by the industry as the real
‘Mixtape King.’ |
| A seasoned player in the game, Tony
Touch is a true innovator and has revolutionized the
DJ game over and over. From his legendary mixtapes,
to his skills on the 1’s and 2’s, to becoming
Hip-Hop’s most recognized DJ. Tony Toca evolved
his mixtapes to record releases. In 2000, Tony released
“The Piece Maker” on Tommy Boy. This album
sold 400,000 units worldwide and featured legendary
Big Pun, Cypress Hills, Wu-Tang Clan, Busta Rhymes,
and today’s hottest, Eminem. The single “I
Wonder Why” featuring Total was a hit and the
video featured cameos from John Leguizamo, Rock Steady
Crew, Grand Master Flash, and Red Alert just to name
a few. This video remains in rotation on BET, MTV
and video shows worldwide. Since then Tony Toca released
“The Piece Maker 2” also had an all-star
line up with features such as P. Diddy, Fat Joe, Sean
Paul and Snoop Dogg. |
| Most recently Tony Toca is revolutionizing
the game once again with his new Reggaeton album,
ReggaeTony. “Play that Song” featuring
Nina Sky and B-real is the first single, part one
of the most creative albums with 19 commercial hits
and raw street tracks. This album also has one of
the most exclusive raw tracks with an artist that
is rarely seen in collaborations, Tego Calderon. “ReggaeTony”
has an All-Star line up from The Beatnuts, Zion and
Lenox, Pitbull, Ivy Queen, NORE, Nina Sky, Voltio
to underground rapper Thirston Howl III. “ReggaeTony”
also reflects a new style in hip hop rappers that
never before was considered commercial such as The
Beatnuts and B-Real rapping in Spanish. |

for Nuyoricans and Latinos. In case you haven’t
seen him DJ in New York, Miami or LA, you can catch
him in Cuba, Australia, Puerto Rico, London, France,
Greece, or anyplace that he can get on a mic with
his turntables. |

such as “Saturday Night Live,” and “The
Dave Chapelle Show” spinning for Eminem. Don’t
forget the radio waves that you can catch Tony Toca
on. He is currently on the # 1 Hip Hop and R&B
station in New York, Power 105.1 Saturday Nights 11pm
to 2 am and Sunday Nights from 9pm to 10pm where he
spins the hottest new Reggaeton acts on The ReggaeTony
show. The RegaeTony show is also on Power 104.1 in
Hartford Connecticut from 6pm to 8 pm. Most recently
he was picked on Sirius Satellite Radio/Shade 45 on
Tuesday Nights from 8pm to Midnight and Music Choice
